Hey, there's a new publication in Reno, all about the area's active sports. It's called Active Reno, and their inaugural issue will be July 2009. The first issue has some coverage of the Tour de Nez, the Trans Tahoe swim, an interview with local triathlete Scott Young, and - an article about my running streak! AWESOME! That's a great picture of you in there too- was that up at Tahoe Relay? Congrats to you on getting your name out there, and a chance to write about your success! Yay Turi!
p.s. That entire issue was a great read- I used to lifeguard while Scott Young swam at NW pool like 12 years ago, and he was always a cool person to talk to. Also mentioned in this issue from NW pool is my old boss Steve Lintz, talking about the Trans-Tahoe swim, which I've always wanted to do, and someday hope to gather a team together willing to brave the chilly waters...
